Installation of calibrated measurement structures and telemetry at 38 locations throughout the canal system.

Project Overview
Accurate measurement is the foundation of equitable allocation. This program installed calibrated flumes, weirs and acoustic meters at the head of each primary lateral, with data logged and transmitted to the District office each hour.
Staff use the resulting record to balance canal operations, verify deliveries against water orders, and report diversions to the Rio Grande Watermaster.
